This policy is for Friendly Folk Coffee Company LLC, doing business as Friendly Folk Coffee (“Friendly Folk,” “we,” “us”), and covers the account you create to reserve weekly coffee pre-orders and the text messages that go along with it.

What we collect

To create and run your account, we collect:

  • Your phone number — used to identify your account, verify it's really you (a one-time code), sign you in, and send the order-related texts described below.
  • Your first and last name — used so we know who is picking up an order.
  • Your order history — which drop, timeslot, and menu item you chose, and whether you picked it up — used to run the weekly drop, hold your spot, and follow up if something goes wrong with an order.

We do not collect payment information.

SMS opt-in data

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile number and consent are used only to send you the order-related messages described in our Terms of Service. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Who else sees your information

We share information only with the service providers that make Friendly Folk work, and only as much as each one needs:

  • Twilio, to deliver your verification code and texts.
  • Our database and hosting providers, to store your account and order data securely.

We do not sell your information to anyone, for any reason.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and order history for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records. You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see “Contact us” below.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text to opt out of SMS messaging at any time. Reply HELP to any text for help.
  • Contact us (below) to ask what information we have about you, correct it, or delete your account.
